Ride To Remember Brent Foster Memorial Ride 2021 Online Auction Live
Due to COVID and the restrictions we are unable to have a Ride again this year. But there has always been a dual purpose to our event. The day of the Ride gives everyone a chance to remember and reflect on the memories of a loved one lost. The second benefit of the Ride is to provide financial support for Bereaved Families Ontario to help people move forward with their tragic loss. For this reason we will again be hosting an online auction as a fun way to raise some money and help BFO (http://bfodurham.net/Home.php) continue helping people.
So the Ride to Remember 2021 online auction will run from Tuesday July 27th 4 pm – Thursday July 29th 4 pm.. There is a great assortment of items to bid on such as a Boston Pizza "Pizza for a Year" voucher, a Zehr's gift voucher and a Canadian Tire Luxury Barbeque. Sure to be something for everyone. Please share with family and friends to heat up the action. So get your virtual shopping hats on and come away a winner!
An email will be sent to notify you of when the auction is live. You will also receive an email once your bid is placed or out bid.
Visit ride-to-remember-brent.com to join the auction and place your bid. Payment via Etransfer (or other method arranged if required), pick up arrangements will be made after closing.
Any questions please email ride.to.remember.brent@gmail.com
Thank you again for your continued support!

As some of you know, we're holding the 4th Annual Lauren Wright Co-ed Slo-pitch Tournament in support of Kids Help Phone and Bereaved Families of Ontario (Durham Chapter). In the first three years of the tournament we raised $13,495.00, split equally between the two charities.
We had to forgo the tournament from 2019-2022 because of Covid but we're pleased to announce we're back this year!
This tournament is held in memory of our daughter, sister and friend Lauren Wright who we lost on May 28, 2014 to suicide. It is designed as a fun tournament with both "registered" slo-pitch teams and teams that are thrown together simply for the tournament. As a bonus I have confirmation that Kids Help Phone will be putting a team in this year! If anyone here would like to organize a team of members, family and friends of BFO please let me know. Team registration is $400 but if someone would like to step up and represent BFO we won't charge you the registration fee, the same offer we gave to Kids Help Phone. We'd love to see both of the charities represented!
Even if you don't want to put a team in we'd love to see you come out, grab a peameal on a bun, a burger or a hot dog and enjoy some ball.
Date of the tournament is Sunday June 11, 2023 at Lakefront West Diamonds in Oshawa. Game times will be between 9:00am and 4:00pm (last game will end by 4:00pm.)
If you are interested in putting a team in to represent BFO you can email me at wright2greg@rogers.com or send me a message through Messenger with your email address and I will send you the registration information along with the rules.
All proceeds will be divided equally between two charities:
KIDS HELP PHONE
BEREAVED FAMILIES OF ONTARIO (DURHAM REGION)
BFO in conjunction with WoWiCa (Adele & Eric Davidson) have released a game for apple and android phones that combine an opportunity to donate to BFO whilst receiving a fun match three game for your apple/android phone or iPad/tablet
BFO will receive a guaranteed minimum of 51% from each and every download (also including, if you decide to do them - in-app purchases - i.e. buy extra diamonds).
Family and friends can all share in the fun of playing a game, whilst helping BFO to continue their work in the community. As the game is available across the globe, relatives and friends abroad can also download the game and support BFO.
For iPhone/iPad the game can be downloaded from the apple store by searching for bfo durham.
For android phones/tablets the game can be downloaded from Google play by searching for bfo durham.
